SEO PowerSuite or Netpeak Software?
There are lots of similarities and differences between the two SEO toolkits.
Before we get into the details, let’s get to know a little more about the companies behind the toolkits.
SEO PowerSuite was founded in 2005.
Their headquarters are in Minsk, Belarus.
They are owned by Techfusion LTD.
Netpeak Software was founded in 2010.
Their headquarters are in London, England, United Kingdom.
They are owned by Netpeak Group, which also owns another very popular all-in-one SEO toolkit called Serpstat.
Let’s see how they compare. We’ll start with their similarities.
How are SEO PowerSuite and Netpeak Software similar?
Both software toolkits are installed desktop software, as opposed to online toolkits.
PRO TIP: This is an important distinction, since it means you won’t be able to use these toolkits via a web browser like Chrome, Firefox, or Microsoft Edge, nor on your mobile device!
This also means that many of the tasks, such as crawling and SERP scraping, are done locally using your own computing resources, instead of on the service’s own hardware in the cloud.
For historical and reference data, such as backlink trust scores, the toolkits can connect with 3rd-parties through each 3rd-party’s API.
Local software can be good or bad, depending on your needs and business structure.
Both SEO PowerSuite and Netpeak Software offer an ongoing free-tier plan with limited features so that you can try out the software as long as you like before you have to subscribe to a plan or purchase it. 😎
Likewise, both packages offer a lot of support options and many of the core features you’re looking for in an SEO toolkit.

Netpeak Software, however, looks and feels much more like a highly-technical tool, with an interface more comparable to standard desktop software, as opposed to a modern browser-based UI.
