What does PPL mean?

In affiliate marketing, PPL stands for “Pay Per Lead.” This is a compensation model used in performance-based marketing where the affiliate earns a commission for each lead they generate for the advertiser, usually in the form of a sale or a lead capture (such as an email sign-up).

The affiliate is paid for each successful lead, regardless of whether or not the lead converts into a sale.

This model differs from PPS, where the affiliate only earns a commission for a successful sale.
