What is First-Click Attribution?

First-click attribution is a digital marketing attribution model that gives 100% credit to the first touchpoint (or first interaction) in a customer’s journey, typically a referral source such as a search engine or social media platform. It assumes that the first interaction is the most influential in leading a customer to make a purchase.

First-click attribution is often used in affiliate marketing.
