What does Exit Intent mean?

Exit Intent is a technology that detects when a visitor is about to leave a website and displays a message or a popup to try to keep them on the website.

These types of popups are called “Exit-Intent Popups” and are often used in affiliate marketing and online e-commerce stores.

The process works by tracking the user’s mouse movements or other user interactions to identify when they are about to leave the page.

This technology is usually used to make an offer, such as an invitation to subscribe to a newsletter or to take advantage of a sale, that can help to convert a visitor into a customer.
