What is dropshipping?
Dropshipping is a retail fulfillment method where a store does not keep the products it sells in stock. Instead, when a store sells a product, it purchases the item from a third party and has it shipped directly to the customer.
The store owner is usually responsible for marketing and advertising the products, processing customer orders and payments, and handling customer service.
Dropshipping is a low-cost and low-risk way to start an online business, as the store owner doesn’t need to invest in inventory or handle any of the logistics of shipping products. It also allows for a wide range of products to be offered without the need for a physical store or warehouse.
