What is an Affiliate ID?

An affiliate ID is a unique identifier that is assigned to an affiliate by the advertiser when doing affiliate marketing. It is used to track the sales and commissions that are generated by that specific affiliate.

The affiliate ID is typically included in the affiliate’s unique referral link or banner, which is then used to promote the product or service.

When a customer clicks on that link and makes a purchase, the affiliate ID is recorded and associated with the sale. This allows the advertiser to accurately track and pay commissions to the correct affiliate.

It’s also known as a referral ID, tracking ID, or partner ID.
