What does CPA mean in Affiliate Marketing?

In affiliate marketing, CPA stands for “Cost Per Action.” It is a form of affiliate marketing that pays the affiliate when a specific action is taken by a user, such as making a purchase, signing up for a newsletter, or completing a survey.

CPA is performance-based, meaning that the affiliate is rewarded only when a conversion occurs. This type of marketing is beneficial for both the advertiser and the affiliate because it provides a way for the advertiser to reach new customers, and the affiliate to be rewarded for successfully promoting the advertiser’s product or service.

CPA should not be confused with a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
